The Kremlin considers the issue of accounting for the nuclear arsenals of Britain and France relevant.

Russia and the United States should begin negotiations on a treaty on measures for the further Reduction and Limitation of Strategic Offensive Arms (START Treaty), but the nuclear arsenals of Great Britain and France should be taken into account. This was announced on September 28 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"It is necessary to start negotiations here, of course, at the bilateral level. After all, the START Treaty is a bilateral document," he told TASS.

At the same time, according to Peskov, at present it will not be possible to abstract from the nuclear arsenals of Great Britain and France.
