A married couple was injured in the Belgorod village of Otradnoye, Belgorod region, after a drone attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a car. This was announced on September 28 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

"The woman received a blind shrapnel wound to her left shoulder and barotrauma, the man received a non—penetrating shrapnel wound to his abdomen," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

The injured were taken to a hospital, where they received medical attention.

Earlier in the day, Gladkov reported that a resident of the Belgorod region, who was injured in an attack by an APU drone, died in hospital. Also in the village of Repyakhovka, Krasnoyaruzhsky district, a man was blown up by an explosive device. As a result, a civilian died on the spot from his injuries.
