On September 28, former Moldovan president and leader of the Party of Socialists Igor Dodon, in an interview with Izvestia, called the organization of parliamentary elections in Transnistria a complete outrage.

"As for Transnistria, there is complete lawlessness, five bridges have been blocked. Besides, as you know, we have significantly reduced the number of ballots. No more than 24,000 ballots for 275,000 of our citizens who live in the Transnistrian region. This is lawlessness," Dodon said.

He added that Moldovan observers are present at most polling stations in the European Union (EU) countries, but cases of vote collection have already been recorded. In addition, the ex-President of the Republic expressed hope for the victory of the opposition in the elections.

Parliamentary elections began in Moldova on September 28. Polling stations in the country opened at 07:00 (coincides with Moscow time) and will close at 21:00. According to current data, the turnout in the parliamentary elections reached 30%.

A Moldovan citizen who attended the parliamentary elections in Moscow told Izvestia that voters from Russia are treated very badly as "scum of society." According to her, many polling stations have been opened in the United States and European countries, while only two have been opened in the capital of the Russian Federation.
