A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. The Russian Armed Forces (AF) have launched a massive strike with high-precision long-range air, sea-based weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles against enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), as well as the infrastructure of military airfields. The targets of the strike have been achieved, and all designated targets have been hit.

The North group of troops defeated formations of the mechanized, motorized infantry brigades, two assault and amphibious assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of settlements of the Sumy region. Units of the motorized infantry and heavy mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the border guard detachment of the Border Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, were hit in the Kharkiv direction. The enemy's losses amounted to 175 militants, an armored combat vehicle, 13 vehicles, a 152-mm D-20 cannon, an electronic warfare station and four ammunition depots.

The Zapad group of troops improved the tactical situation and liberated the village of Derilovo in the DPR. In Kirovsk, the cleansing of the suburban area continues. The manpower and equipment of six mechanized and two assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the air defense brigade and the National Guard brigade were defeated in the districts of the Kharkiv region and the DPR. The enemy's losses amounted to 230 soldiers, a tank, three armored combat vehicles, 18 vehicles, seven electronic warfare stations and nine ammunition depots.

The South group of troops improved its position along the front line and continued to destroy the enemy, which was blocked south of the Kleban-Byk reservoir. The formations of three mechanized, airmobile, mountain assault, assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the air defense brigade and the National Guard brigade in the DPR were defeated. The enemy's losses amounted to 260 soldiers, a tank, 12 vehicles and three field artillery pieces. An electronic warfare station, three ammunition and fuel depots were destroyed.

The units of the Center group of forces have taken more advantageous positions and positions. The formations of four mechanized, airmobile, assault, airborne, two amphibious assault brigades, three assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, two marine brigades, a defense brigade and two National Guard brigades in the Donetsk People's Republic and the Dnipropetrovsk region were affected. The enemy's losses amounted to more than 505 people, a tank, three pickups and a 122-mm D-30 howitzer.

The military personnel of the Vostok group of forces continued to advance into the depths of the enemy's defenses and liberated the village of Stepovoye in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The formations of four mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the air defense brigade in the districts of Chervonoye, Novogrigorovka, Poltavka, Zaporizhia region, Stepovoye and Verbovoye, Dnipropetrovsk region, were affected. The enemy's losses amounted to over 305 militants, a tank, two armored combat vehicles, 10 vehicles and an electronic warfare station.

The Dnepr group of troops defeated the manpower and equipment of the amphibious assault, mountain assault, infantry brigades, two coastal defense brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the air defense brigade in the areas of Belogorye, Stepovoye, Zaporizhia region, Nikolaevka, Antonovka and Lviv, Kherson region. The enemy's losses amounted to 55 military personnel, two armored combat vehicles, nine vehicles, a crewless boat, seven electronic warfare stations and two ammunition depots.

Operational and tactical aircraft, attack UAVs, rocket troops and artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation attacked traction substations for the rail transportation of weapons and military equipment, assembly and storage sites for unmanned boats and long-range UAVs, their launch areas, as well as temporary locations of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 147 districts.

Air defense systems shot down six guided aerial bombs, six multiple rocket launchers HIMARS made in the USA and Vampire made in the Czech Republic, as well as 230 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles.

Since the beginning of the special operation, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost 667 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 87,130 unmanned aerial vehicles, 631 anti-aircraft missile systems, 25,273 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,592 multiple launch rocket systems, 30,010 field artillery guns and 42,797 units of special military vehicles.
