13 dogs died in a fire in a Moscow kennel.
There was a fire in a nursery in Moscow. According to preliminary information, 13 dogs were killed and one person was injured. This was reported to Izvestia on September 28 by employees of the institution and eyewitnesses.
According to them, the fire was caused by a man who got carried away celebrating his birthday and forgot to put out his cigarette. During the fire, 30 dogs managed to escape.
The causes and circumstances of the incident are being determined by emergency services and law enforcement officers.
On September 23, a fire broke out in the Novosibirsk Zoo. The press service of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that specialists managed to rescue more than 20 animals from the fire. Later, zoo director Andrey Shilo announced the deaths of a black and white cow, a Scottish bull, two llamas and one alpaca. The causes of the fire are being determined.
