An educational forum of the Russian Military Historical Society (RVIO) was held in Moscow on September 27. "Military History in Games: the boundaries of reality", which was attended by leading historians, educators and game developers.
During the forum, various thematic zones and interactive zones were open to visitors. In addition, an agreement on cooperation between the Russian Military Historical Society and leading Russian studios was signed at the event.
Alexey Goreslavsky, Director General of the Internet Development Institute, also spoke at the forum. He stated that 62% of Russians spend their time playing games.
"People actually play mobile, casual, desktop, whatever games. In the desktop after all. In general, neither VTsIOM nor Mediascope deceive us, two thirds of Russians spend at least some time in games every day," he said.
Dmitry Dobrovolsky, head of the Russian Drift Series, master of sports and current pilot of the RDS Open championship, said on September 23 that teenagers are spending more and more time on computers and smartphones, immersing themselves in virtual games and esports.
