The third round of the Russian-American dialogue on interstate irritants will take place this fall. This was announced on September 27 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a press conference following the 80th anniversary General Assembly (GA) of the United Nations.

"Our dialogue is underway, there have already been two rounds, the third is with (the US Secretary of State. — Ed.) Marco Rubio agreed to hold this fall," he said.

The Minister specified that issues related to visas, the functioning and operation of diplomatic missions, as well as forms of ownership will be discussed during the consultations.

Following the meeting between Lavrov and Rubio held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, Moscow noted Washington's continued commitment to an honest and open dialogue. At the same time, as Lavrov clarified, the interests of the Russian Federation and the United States coincide, in particular, in matters of joint implementation of projects.
