Orban urged Zelensky to stop harassing Hungary
On September 27, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban called on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to "stop harassing" Hungary in the situation with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
"President Zelensky, with all due respect, stop harassing us!" he wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
Orban also recalled that Hungary is a member of NATO and the European Union (EU) and told Zelensky that without the support of these two organizations, Kiev would have collapsed long ago.
On September 26, Zelensky announced a violation of the country's airspace by Hungarian drones. According to the Ukrainian leader, the drones could conduct reconnaissance of the industrial potential of the country's border regions.
Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said later in the day that Zelensky had begun to lose his mind due to "Hungerophobia" after the Ukrainian president reported that Hungarian UAVs had violated Kiev's border.
