The expert pointed out the superiority of the UAV "Geran" of the Russian Armed Forces over the new Ukrainian drone.

New Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) The Zozulya of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) is practically an analog of the Russian drone of the Geranium model, but it is inferior to it in flight range. Military expert Konstantin Sivkov told Izvestia about this on September 27.

"What can I tell you about this "Zozulya"? Let's compare it with our "Geranium". The Geranium flies at 2.6 thousand km, the Zozulya flies at 2.1 thousand km. <...> According to the average modification, the Geraniums have the ability to provide collective strikes. <...> The Geranium is a scout, the geranium is a false target, and the geranium is a strike complex. Zozuli has none of this. Therefore, we can say that Zozulya is actually the Tukali version of our Geranium," he said.

However, as Sivkov added, the developed UAV can mislead aerial target detection systems due to its low altitude, as they can perceive this object as large flocks of birds or one massive feathered stork type. This, according to him, requires a solution, which may consist in additional improvement of Russian air defense systems.

"We need to install enhanced air defense systems that can detect and destroy these Zozuli. we must allow them to fly <...> to particularly important facilities, large cities, for example, there are some special enterprises there," he concluded.

Retired Colonel Anatoly Matviychuk pointed out on September 23 that Ukraine was unable to continue fighting without the help of European states. He clarified that all drones are supplied to Kiev in the form of kits that only need to be assembled.
