Lavrov said that Russia remains ready for negotiations on Ukraine

Russia remains open to negotiations to address the root causes of the Ukrainian conflict. This was stated on September 27 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at the general political discussion of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

"Russia, as President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stressed, has been and remains open to negotiations from the very beginning to eliminate the root causes of the conflict," the minister said.
