Kiev has condemned the decision of the International Paralympic Committee from Russia.

Kiev condemned the decision to allow Russian Paralympians with the flag and anthem and demanded its change. This was announced on September 27 on the website of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.

"We call on the entire sports world, sports institutions, athletes and coaches who have not lost their moral compass to condemn this decision and demand its change," the message says.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine has also appealed to the organizers of the 2026 Winter Olympics to prevent the appearance of Russian flags at the Games.
