Major Russian banks are refining their functionality to implement a special button in their applications that allows them to notify about fraud. This was announced on September 27 by Vadim Uvarov, head of the Information Security Department of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

"From October 1, most banks must implement this story," the RIA Novosti news agency quoted Uvarov as saying.

He noted that in case of problems in the work, they will be solved with credit institutions on an individual basis.

Earlier, on September 26, the head of the financial monitoring and currency control service of the Central Bank, Bogdan Shablya, reported that the number of identified droppers already totals 1.2 million people. He added that the concept of an anti-dropper platform will be presented in the first half of 2026.
