Russian striker Evgeny Kuznetsov will sign a contract with the Metallurg hockey club. This was announced on September 27 by Sport-Express.

According to the publication, Kuznetsov could have signed a contract with HC Toronto Maple Leafs in the National Hockey League (NHL), but the athlete "never made a specific offer that would suit him."
