On September 26, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, during a meeting with Ivan Hill, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, at the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, declared the categorical inadmissibility of using instruments of forceful pressure on sovereign states as an instrument of foreign policy.
