The crews of the T-90M Proryv tanks of the 90th Guards Tank Division of the Center group of forces, in preparation for new combat missions, practiced the tactical method of firing from different directions in a narrow sector of the front and working from a closed firing position at a training ground in the rear area of the special military operation zone. This was announced on September 27 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

Artyom Vaganov, the commander of the tank platoon, who previously operated the T-80BVM tank, pointed out the differences between this vehicle and the T-90B.

Vaganov clarified that his unit is firing while moving, so it is important to practice this skill in order to hit the target in a timely manner.

The exercises were held in pairs. One of the crews practiced the tactics of applying methodical fire on the positions of a simulated enemy, and the second performed a firing roll, accompanied by shooting in motion.

The ministry stressed that the crew members of the tanks of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, who are continuously developing their speed skills, are learning to make decisions on their own and assess the situation to achieve their goals, taking into account weather conditions, terrain and the nature of the ground.

"I really like the T-90M. It is very convenient to use and operate. <...> We are practicing exercises with a tank at the training ground. <...> The day begins with lifting and loading tanks," Maxim Manoilov, the tank's gunner, added.

It is specified that after completing the training, the tank crews participating in it will return to combat missions to destroy strongholds, areas of concentration of manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), and will also continue to support the advancing assault units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in liberating settlements from Ukrainian militants.
