The media reported on a possible ban on tourist services in the Russian Federation as part of the 19th package of anti-Russian sanctions being prepared by the European Union (EU). This confirms the transformation of the association into a "fascist monster." This was announced on September 27 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

"Brussels may include a ban on the provision of tourist services in our country in the 19th package of sanctions. <...> First of all, the Europeans themselves will suffer from this decision. <...> The European Union is turning into a real fascist monster. To be more precise, he is being turned into a monster by the ultra—liberals in power," she wrote on her Telegram channel.

Zakharova clarified that this information was received literally on the eve of the World Tourism Day, which is celebrated annually around the world on September 27. She added that the potential adoption of this decision "will not intimidate" Moscow.

On September 15, the Pronews portal reported that five European countries, including Greece, Italy, Spain, France and Hungary, rejected the EU's proposal to ban the issuance of Schengen visas to Russian citizens. This decision, as noted in the text, could have a negative impact on the economies of these states, which continue to be the favorite tourist destinations of Russians.
