Zakharova urged Stubb to stop distorting the facts about the Ukrainian conflict
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on September 26 that Finnish President Alexander Stubb has no competence to distort logic and truth.
Earlier, Stubb said that Russia has no right to continue offensive movements on the front against Ukraine, just as Israel cannot violate international law regarding Palestine.
"Stubb has no right to another falsification of common sense," Zakharova replied to the Finnish president's statement.
Zakharova recalled the solidarity of Israel, Kiev and the European Union (EU), as well as Finland's purchase of Israeli David's Sling multi-level missile defense systems for €317 million in 2023. She called the situation in Ukraine a provocation by NATO, which pursued a Russophobic policy there.
Earlier in the day, Zakharova expressed the opinion that information about Europe's alleged warning to Moscow about its readiness to shoot down Russian military aircraft in violation of airspace was a fantasy in favor of Russophobia. She called the detailed words fictions of a specific Western agency.
