Vladimir Putin congratulated the elected heads of regions on their victory in the gubernatorial elections. It was won either by the current leaders, or by those who were in the status of acting. — It is obvious that people expect to continue the strategic course of the country's development, that it will bring further changes for the better in their regions, hometowns, towns. On September 14, 2025, during a Single voting Day, elections of various levels were held in 81 of 89 regions of Russia. Governors were elected in 20 regions of the Russian Federation, and in the rest — about 46 thousand deputies to local legislative assemblies and municipal authorities. Maria Kostyuk spoke about the joint development of a graphite mining cluster in the EAO with Rosatom. In addition, construction of a cross-border highway bridge between Russia and China will soon begin in the region.
