- The poster and trailer of the heroic comedy "There is only a Moment" have been released
The distributor NMG Kinoprokat (part of the National Media Group holding) presents a poster and trailer for the vivid story of courage and fortitude "There is only a Moment". Voenfilm Studio, SEREBRO film company and REN TV channel worked on the production of the film. The film will be released in wide release on November 27, 2025. The television premiere of the film will take place on the REN TV channel.
The action of the film "There is only a Moment" takes place in 1944, when the Red Army, having liberated the eastern borders of Poland, continued its journey to the West. But even in these crucial days, the war did not spare anyone. Senior Lieutenant Ivan Polivanov, a brilliant fighter pilot, loses the opportunity to take to the air after being seriously injured. He is transferred to the "invisible front": Polivanov heads a mock—up airfield designed to mislead the enemy. And in the depths of the forest, the hero discovers the wreckage of a MiG fighter jet. For Polivanov, restoring the car turns into a sacred mission — to return the wings to the MiG, and a chance for himself to taste freedom under the clouds again.
The film was directed by Alexander Zhigalkin. The main role in the film was played by Daniil Popov. His colleagues on the site were Sofia Lopunova, Vladimir Ilyin, Alexey Shevchenkov, Svetlana Antonova, Anton Batyrev, Alexey Dmitriev, Mikhail Evlanov and others. The music for the film was written by Ivan Zamotaev, winner of the International Mironov Acting Song Contest and winner of the Three Chords show.
"This is a war movie. About the people of war. In our film, the actual military actions are not as thickly present as they usually are in war films. We have more about people, about their relationships, which have everything – drama and humor, irony and love, willingness to sacrifice. This is a film about ordinary people of the war who created Victory with their own hands, forged it in the most unexpected areas – for example, our heroes serve at a false airfield. Heroic comedy is an atypical genre today. Such films were shot during the Great Patriotic War – uplifting in essence and agitational in orientation. Today, it seems to me, is a time when films about the war need to be made, it would seem, easy – but dramatic. There is war and there is death, but people are still people. Their relationships and the situations they find themselves in can cause both smiles and laughter. Sometimes it happens through tears," said Director of Photography Alexander Zhigalkin.
"Our film is both a war drama and a heroic comedy. In my opinion, this film is about growing up and kindness, about being more empathetic to others. That the main thing, as Oleg Pavlovich Tabakov said, is "to remain human in any situation." I really like the material – it's soulful and light. The right job! The impressions from the work are very vivid – from the team, from the locations, from the script, and from professionalism in everything.",
The filming of the film, created by the Voenfilm studio in collaboration with the SEREBRO film company and the REN TV channel, took place at the legendary cinema complex in Medyn (Kaluga Region), as well as at the sites of the Moskino Film Park and the Glavkino Complex. Authentic hangars, runways and military equipment from the time of the Great Patriotic War transport the viewer to the era of heroes.
