The second Kulakov National Prize was awarded in Moscow.
On September 26, Moscow hosted the awarding of the II Kulakov National Prize "Towards Life" as part of the XXVI All-Russian Scientific and Educational Forum "Mother and Child". The footage of the event is published by Izvestia.
"We will have two hours of absolutely great events, I would like them to be remembered. We will have a lot of photos, short but vivid memories," said Gennady Sukhoi, Head of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, Perinatology and Reproductology at the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University before the ceremony.
The award's nominations are intended for specialists in the fields of obstetrics and gynecology, neonatology, and reproductive medicine. The award was established by the Academic Council of the Kulakov National Research Medical Center of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology of the Russian Ministry of Health in honor of Academician Kulakov, an outstanding scientist and healthcare organizer who led the Scientific Center of Obstetrics and Gynecology for more than 20 years.
On August 27, Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed gratitude and awarded a certificate of honor to medical workers from the Kursk region who showed professionalism and dedication in extreme conditions. The gratitude of the head of state was announced to the doctors from the territorial Center for Disaster Medicine of the Kursk Regional Clinical Hospital.
