Doctors have recorded an increase in the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) in the Magadan region. The indicator was 51.7 cases per 10,000 population.

According to MagadanMedia news agency, the incidence increased by 49% in a week. In all age groups, the incidence rate remains below the epidemic threshold. No cases of influenza have been identified.

Rospotrebnadzor staff recommend local residents to observe hand hygiene, ventilate the premises and stay at home at the first symptoms of the disease.

In the Murmansk region over the past week, more than 7.1 thousand people went to doctors with signs of acute respiratory viral infections. In addition, 37 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered.
