Strong winds and heavy rains will bring a cyclone to Kamchatka

The Kamchatka Territory will be under the influence of the Okhotsk Sea cyclone. Rains and strong winds are expected in the region.

According to the KamchatkaMedia news agency, bad weather is expected from September 27 to September 29. The southern regions will be the first to be affected by the cyclone. Precipitation is expected throughout Kamchatka by Sunday.

On September 28 and 29, frosts of up to -1 degree are possible in mountainous areas. During the day, the air temperature will range from +8 to +16 degrees. On the coast, the wind speed will increase to 15-20 m/s.

On September 23, snowfall caused delays in several flights in Yakutsk. In addition, restrictions on inter-district bus transportation were in effect due to the icy conditions.
