"Antonina sent us a request to file a lawsuit against the organizers. At this stage, we are investigating the responsibilities of both the organizers of the swim and all responsible employees of government agencies, as well as their omissions in accordance with these responsibilities. As a result of these checks, a case will be opened against all those responsible," the lawyer said in an interview with aif.ru .

Chakmak clarified that video cameras were installed only at the start and finish points, and the rest of the swim route was not equipped with video recording facilities.

On September 24, Svechnikov's mother Galina said that the organizers of the swim were hiding details about her son's disappearance, according to the website. kp.ru .

She noted that there are no recordings from the swim, although filming was underway, there were many correspondents, IA Regnum reports.

The woman said that the Red Cross informed the swimmer's family about the need to wait for news. According to her, there are many versions that Svechnikov fled to Turkey or Greece. However, the things at the hotel where the swimmer stayed before the tournament were handed over to the lawyer. The list consists of 51 items, and it also includes a passport.

Earlier, on September 20, the swimmer's mother reported that the search for Svechnikov had expanded to the Marmara Sea. According to her, the Red Cross has also joined the search.

Before that, Svechnikov's wife blamed the organizers of the swim, in which the Russian participated, for his disappearance. She stressed that the organizers did not expand the search area for rescuers, so the family lost valuable time that could have been spent on rescuing the swimmer.
