Vandals stole a model of Mercury from a park in Kurgan

In Kurgan, unknown persons stole one of the elements of the installation "Planets of the Solar System", which is located in the park of the 4th microdistrict of Zaozernoye. This was reported on Friday, September 26, in the Telegram channel "Zazik".

We are talking about the disappearance of the Mercury layout. The art object was damaged in the winter: the internal light source stopped working, and the fastening itself became unstable.

Now there are only traces of fasteners on the place of the planet. The townspeople attribute what is happening to the lack of proper control over park visitors. Video surveillance is installed on the territory, but it is not known if it is working.

According to the <url> news agency, this is the third case of planetary models disappearing over the past year — previously, models of Uranus, Saturn and Jupiter disappeared. The uranium was later found.
