AI Day to be held at Skolkovo Technopark

On September 30, the "AI Day" will be held on the territory of the Skolkovo Technopark, the press service of the Skolkovo Foundation said. During the event, not only the latest developments using AI will be demonstrated, but also an innovative infrastructure that ensures the operation of advanced robotic solutions.

The event will bring together over 700 participants and experts who will discuss key challenges and directions of artificial intelligence development in Russia.

The main event will be the panel discussion "Wait or implement? AI as the main choice of the decade." It will be attended by top managers of large corporations representing various industries, from industry to the financial sector. They will share the practice of using artificial intelligence in their own production practice and discuss the factors that determine the speed of technology adoption in the country.

Among the experts who will participate in the business program of the event are Professor, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Center of the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology Evgeny Burnaev, Director General of the AI Institute of Artificial Intelligence, Professor of the Artificial Intelligence Center of the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology Ivan Oseledets, Chief Managing Partner of VEB.Alexander Pavlov of the Russian Federation, as well as the heads of the country's leading IT corporations, top managers leading the digital transformation processes of the largest companies.

During the forum, participants will be able to see unique developments using neural network models made in the interests of developing strategic industries, as well as the latest infrastructure equipment capable of operating powerful IT systems.

Scientists at the Skoltech AI Center, which unites over 300 researchers, engineers and graduate students working at the intersection of fundamental and applied areas of artificial intelligence, will present a number of their developments. These include programs that improve the clarity of images and automatic recognition of objects in satellite images, localize sources and estimate the power of atmospheric emissions from monitoring stations, forecast weather, sea and ice conditions for the Northern Sea Route, assess the risk of forest fires and simulate their spread based on satellite and meteorological data, flights of autonomous drones based on on-board sensors with online trajectory planning, calculation of biological age based on biomarkers, as well as a number of other developments.

In addition, within the framework of the forum, Fplus will present an enterprise-level computing cluster, which consists entirely of equipment designed and assembled in Russia.

Engineering+ Group of Companies will demonstrate the ICE+ immersion cooling system, designed to accommodate and maintain thermostable operating modes of high-performance IT equipment.

Laboratory of Intelligent Space Robotics ISR Lab. He will demonstrate the ESNO system for remote control of manipulators for collecting data on motion trajectories, designed to train robots in artificial intelligence.

Today, Skolkovo unites about 700 companies whose main product component is AI, and about 200 developers of methods and technologies for working with neural networks.
