Specialists have prepared measures to localize and eliminate the outbreak. Export of agricultural products is possible only if there is a quarantine certificate.

The midge affects agricultural crops, spreads through plant residues and seed material.

Earlier, a dangerous weed was discovered in the Shchekinsky district of the Tula region. The total area of the quarantine zone exceeds 1.2 thousand hectares.
