Asteroid 2025 SU4 passed close to Earth at the height of satellites

Asteroid 2025 SU4 with a diameter of two meters on Wednesday, September 24, approached the Earth at a minimum distance and passed near the planet at an altitude of 20 thousand m. This was reported on September 26 at the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of the IKI RAS.

"A small asteroid 2025 SU4 with a diameter of 2 m flew very close to the planet on September 24 (Wednesday), passing at 11:30 a.m. Moscow time at a distance of just over 20 thousand km (approximately at the altitude of the location of the GLONASS and GPS satellites)," the laboratory wrote in the Telegram channel.
