Summary of the special operation in Ukraine for the week

A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. The North group of forces continued its offensive operations, advancing into the depth of the enemy's defenses in the Sumy region and liberating the settlement of Yunakovka. During the fighting, five mechanized, motorized infantry, jaeger, amphibious assault brigades and two assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were hit. The enemy's losses amounted to 1,250 military personnel, three tanks, four armored combat vehicles, 62 vehicles and 15 field artillery pieces. Nine electronic warfare and counter-battery warfare stations were destroyed, as well as 29 ammunition and materiel depots.

The Zapad group of forces continued to advance and occupied more advantageous positions. Russian assault units seized 2,519 buildings in Kirovsk, Donetsk People's Republic. Four mechanized, two assault, airmobile, amphibious assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a marine brigade, a defense brigade and a National Guard brigade were defeated. The enemy's losses amounted to more than 1,605 military personnel, 10 armored combat vehicles, 108 vehicles, and 18 field artillery pieces. 59 electronic warfare and counter-battery warfare stations and 39 ammunition and materiel depots were destroyed.

The group of troops "South" liberated the settlement of Perezdnoye in the Donetsk People's Republic. In the area south of the Kleban-Byk reservoir, 25.5 square kilometers of territory have been cleared of neo-Nazis. Seven mechanized, motorized infantry, airmobile, assault, mountain assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a marine brigade, two air defense brigades and a National Guard brigade were defeated. The enemy's losses amounted to over 1,540 military personnel, three tanks, 23 armored combat vehicles, 74 vehicles, and 26 field artillery pieces. 13 electronic warfare stations, 36 ammunition and fuel depots were destroyed.

The Center group of troops continued active offensive operations on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Dnipropetrovsk region. Four mechanized, tank, three amphibious assault, two jaeger, airmobile, assault, airborne brigades, three assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, two marine brigades, three air defense brigades and two National Guard brigades were defeated. The enemy's losses amounted to 3,675 military personnel, three tanks, 14 armored combat vehicles, 38 vehicles, and 12 artillery pieces.

The Vostok group of troops advanced into the depth of the enemy's defenses and liberated the settlements of Berezove and Kalinovskoye in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Three mechanized units, an assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, two air defense brigades, a marine brigade and a National Guard brigade were defeated. The enemy's losses amounted to over 2,135 military personnel, two tanks, 17 armored combat vehicles, 97 vehicles and 11 field artillery pieces. Six electronic warfare stations and two ammunition depots were destroyed.

The forces of the Black Sea Fleet in the Black Sea and units of the Dnepr group of forces destroyed 23 unmanned boats and five enemy boats. Air defense systems shot down 24 guided aerial bombs, five HIMARS multiple rocket launchers and 1,724 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles.

In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 667 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 86769 unmanned aerial vehicles, 631 anti-aircraft missile systems, 25254 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1592 multiple rocket launchers, 29956 field artillery guns and mortars, 42665 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
