Another new X-ray machine was put into operation at the Balashikha hospital

Seven units of heavy medical equipment have been introduced in Balashikha Hospital (Moscow Region) since the beginning of the year. The regional Ministry of Health announced this on Friday, September 26.

The last, seventh in a row, a digital X-ray machine was put into operation. It has been launched in the inpatient department of the Railway Branch and will work around the clock for emergency room patients.

The equipment was purchased under the national project "Long and active life," according to the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya. Since the beginning of the year, the Balashikha Hospital has already received a CT machine, three X-ray machines, two mammographs and a fluorograph.

According to Maxim Zabelin, Deputy Chairman of the regional government and Minister of Health, 66 X—ray machines with a total cost of more than 1.5 billion rubles have been delivered to medical institutions in the Moscow Region since the beginning of 2025. Work on equipping hospitals and polyclinics continues.
