A woman died when hit by a car at a crossing in the Murmansk region
In the Kirovsky district of the Murmansk region, a resident of the city of Kirovsk, who was crossing the road on a zebra crossing, died as a result of a car collision. This is reported by the Regional Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
The hit-and-run occurred on Thursday evening, September 25, on the 3rd km of the Kirovsk–Koashva highway. It was previously established that a 32-year-old resident of the village of Titan, driving a Citroen C4, hit a 52-year-old resident of Kirovsk, who was crossing the roadway at an unregulated pedestrian crossing.
As a result of the collision, the woman was seriously injured. She died on the spot before the arrival of an ambulance, writes the Bi-port news agency.
The police organized a check on the fatal accident. All the circumstances are being established, and the issue of initiating a criminal case is being resolved.
On September 8, in Armavir, a Lada Granta driver hit three teenagers who were crossing the road on a zebra crossing. Two 13-year-old boys died, and a 15-year-old boy was hospitalized in serious condition. A criminal case has been opened.
