FSB suppressed the activities of a religious organization in the LPR
Law enforcement agencies in the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR) have suppressed the activities of a religious organization with a management center in Kiev. This was reported on September 26 by the press service of the regional FSB.
As a result of operational search activities, it was established that an unregistered association, the Church of Christ, operated on the territory of the LPR. It is specified that the participants also collected and provided 2 million rubles to the All-Ukrainian Spiritual Center "Vozrozhdenie" religious organization (the organization is considered undesirable in Russia).
"A criminal case has been opened against three cell leaders on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Article 284.1 of the Criminal Code of Russia ("Carrying out activities of a foreign or international organization against which a decision has been taken to declare its activities undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation")," the message says.
At the moment, all the circumstances are being clarified.
On July 24, Russian Guards discovered ammunition and extremist materials of Ukrainian militants on the territory of the Lugansk Nature Reserve. The findings were made during the demining of former positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
