UAV operators destroyed a unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the village of Chasov Yar

Operators of the Molniya-2 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Ivanovo formation of the airborne forces destroyed a unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of the village of Chasyar, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on September 26.

It is clarified that the operators received the exact coordinates of the target, after which they launched the UAV and destroyed the enemy unit.

The ministry noted that the preparation of the drone takes several minutes. The drones are mounted on a pneumatic catapult and, after checking all systems, they are launched.

The use of this drone in conjunction with conventional FPV drones makes it possible to quickly destroy identified targets and provide support to Russian assault units.
