Sobyanin announced the completion of the project to extend Mosfilmovskaya Street

The project to extend Mosfilmovskaya Street from Ramenskiy Boulevard to Gaidai and Alexei Batalov Streets has been completed in the capital — now General Dorokhov Avenue has an understudy, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said in the MAX messenger.

According to him, almost 300,000 residents of the Ramenka and Ochakovo-Matveev districts received "many new options for traveling around the city." From Mosfilmovskaya Street, you can now directly access Yuzhnaya Rokada. Part of the road passes over two new bridges over the Ramenka River.

As part of the project, 6.4 km of roads were built and reconstructed, including access roads to social and engineering infrastructure facilities.

The plans for next year are to extend Gaidai Street. An exit from Mosfilmovskaya Street to General Dorokhov Avenue will be organized.

The work is being carried out as part of the creation of the cinema quarter in Ramenki. Its streets are named after 11 directors and actors — Leonid Gaidai, Faina Ranevskaya, Alexey Batalov, Vasily Lanov and others.
