Russia helped Belarus turn into a nuclear power. This was stated on September 25 by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, speaking at the Global Atomic Forum in Moscow.

The Belarusian leader added that his country was ready to participate in the construction of nuclear power plants in other countries.
