Russia's international reserves have updated their historical maximum

Russia's international reserves increased by 1.1% from September 12 to 19, reaching a new record. The corresponding statement was published on the website of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation on September 25.

"As of the end of the day on September 19, 2025, international reserves amounted to $712.6 billion, having increased by $7.5 billion, or 1.1%, over the week, mainly due to a positive revaluation," the Central Bank said.

As of the end of the day on September 12, they amounted to $705.1 billion.
