Chita's budget will be replenished by 248 million rubles

Chita's budget for 2026 and 2027 was decided to replenish by 248 million rubles. This decision was reached by deputies of the City Duma, according to the Telegram channel of the parliament.

"Any money that comes to the budget is necessary and important. The budget is in deficit, and there are a lot of tasks that he needs to solve," said Yevgeny Yarilov, head of the City Duma.

Most of the amount — more than 195.2 million rubles — will come from the federal and regional budgets. The remaining 53 million rubles will be tax and non-tax revenues, writes ChitaMedia news agency.

The main funds are planned to be allocated to the social sphere. The money, in particular, will be used for major housing repairs for certain categories of citizens, construction and renovation of container sites for garbage, purchase of textbooks for schools, cleaning and landscaping of urban areas.

Earlier it was reported that 18.6 billion rubles of budget loans will be written off to the Trans-Baikal Territory by the end of 2030 due to work with the Russian government.
