The fire season has ended in a third of the forest districts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory

The fire season has officially ended in 20 forest districts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The decision was also made by the regional government due to the change in weather conditions.

So, now in the territory of the region there is a steady decrease in average daily temperatures and precipitation in the northern, central, western and eastern regions.

There are 61 forestry departments in the region. According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, in 2025, the full completion of the fire season is scheduled for October 1.

A week earlier, it was reported that all forest fires had been extinguished in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. As of Friday, September 19, there were no new fires in the region.
