In the Lipetsk region, veterinarians cut a fishing lure from the mouth of a hunting dog. This is the second such case since the beginning of the year.

According to GOROD48, with reference to the regional veterinary department, the operation was carried out at the Terbunsky animal disease control station. The dog is in satisfactory condition and has been sent home for further treatment.

Earlier it was reported that teenagers under the age of 16 and people in a state of intoxication may be prohibited from walking dogs of potentially dangerous breeds on their own — such a bill was supported by the government. An exception is made for cases when the owner releases the pet into a private fenced area. According to the authors of the initiative, cases of attacks by large dogs on passers-by due to the owners' oversight have become more frequent in Russia.
