The Russian government will extend the ban on gasoline exports until the end of this year, and for the same period it will impose an embargo on the export of diesel fuel for non-producers. This was announced on September 25 by Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.
"We will extend the ban on gasoline exports in the near future until the end of the year, and a ban on the export of diesel fuel for non—manufacturers will also be introduced until the end of the year," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Novak noted that this measure will additionally provide the Russian market with petroleum products.
