Likhachev thanked the government for Rosatom's participation in national projects of the Russian Federation

The Russian government has entrusted Rosatom State Corporation to be an active participant in almost all national projects in the country. This was announced on September 25 by Alexey Likhachev, CEO of the company, at the opening of the International Atomic Week forum.

"Thank you to the Government of the Russian Federation [Deputy Prime Minister] Alexander Valentinovich Novak for supporting our projects and for the fact that Rosatom has been assigned to participate in almost all national projects in our country," he said.

Sergey Kiriyenko, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, noted that the total portfolio of nuclear power plants (NPP) being built by Rosatom in Russia and abroad currently stands at 30 units.

Prior to that, on September 15, Likhachev noted Russia's willingness to share advanced technologies with partners. According to him, the Russian Federation is becoming a key partner for hundreds of states that consider nuclear energy as an alternative development path.
