Forecasters predicted cloudy weather in Moscow over the weekend

On Saturday, September 27, cloudy and rainy weather will continue throughout the day in Moscow. The wind is from the north, north-west and north-east, with gusts up to 7 m/s. In the morning, the temperature will be +9 degrees, in the afternoon it will rise to +11 degrees, in the evening it will be about +10 degrees, and at night it will drop to +8 degrees.

"In the cities of the Moscow region — such as Odintsovo, Podolsk, Lyubertsy, Vidnoye and Domodedovo — the daytime temperature will be close to Moscow, about + 9 degrees, and weather conditions will remain similar to those in the capital," the forecasters said.

On Sunday, September 28, the weather will remain cool and cloudy, with no significant precipitation. The wind is north-easterly, with gusts up to 9 m/s. In the morning, the temperature will be +6 degrees, in the afternoon the air will warm up to +10 degrees, in the evening it will be about +8 degrees, and at night — +6 degrees. In the Moscow region, the temperature background is expected to be at the Moscow level, in some places 1-2 degrees lower.

Anatoly Tsygankov, Deputy head of the situation center of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, in an interview with Izvestia on September 22, ruled out snowfall in Moscow and the Moscow region at the end of the working week from September 22 to 28, despite the fact that the air temperature will begin to decrease in the middle of the week. Tsygankov, however, did not rule out that "a couple of snowflakes" could fall outside the city at zero temperatures.
