Deputies of the State Duma at the plenary session adopted a resolution appointing Galina Izotova to the post of Deputy Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation. This was announced on September 25 on the website of the State Duma.

It is noted that Izotova's candidacy was previously submitted to the State Duma by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Izotova was first appointed to the post of Deputy Chairman of the Accounts Chamber on September 25, 2019. Her first term of office expired on September 24, 2025.

Earlier, on September 22, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin appointed Roman Nekrasov to the post of Deputy head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
