The lawyers of the singer Philip Kirkorov are checking reports that the performer allegedly has some kind of loan debt. Currently, his team regards this as a misunderstanding, Ekaterina Uspenskaya, the artist's press secretary, said on September 25.

"In any case, lawyers comment on all court cases. They are now finding out what kind of misunderstanding happened there," the Paragraph portal quotes her comment.

On September 24, it became known that Kirkorov had been sued by the Tagansky District Court of Moscow. The plaintiff, Socium Trade Joint Stock Company (JSC), stated that in 2020 Kirkorov was given a loan on individual terms from a Moscow Credit Bank, but did not repay it in full. According to their version, the singer returned only part of the amount, so the company demands to collect the remaining debt. A preliminary hearing on the case is scheduled for October 13.
