Military personnel of the unit of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Dnepr group of forces destroyed the control point of the UAV of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kherson region. This was announced on September 25 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The ministry clarified that the enemy's night movement to the residential building was detected using a reconnaissance drone. The coordinates of the UAV launch point were transmitted to the Russian command post. The unit commander decided to use a Molniya-2 aircraft-type drone, which allows striking an enemy at a distance of up to 60 km with a payload of up to 10 kg.

The mobile calculation was already at the launch point. Having received the task, the servicemen assembled the drone and secretly carried out its takeoff. The time from receiving the command to launching the UAV usually takes from 15 to 20 minutes. As a result of the strike, the AFU UAV control center was completely destroyed.

"When a target appears or is identified, we immediately go to work. That's why we work around the clock, day and night. The enemy is not resting, and so are we," said the operator of the Molniya-2 UAV with the call sign Kazak.
