Two Republican representatives, August Pfluger and Abe Hamade, plan to introduce a bill within a week obliging the US Treasury to mint 400,000 silver dollars with the image of a Pickaxe.

"Since 1892, Congress has authorized the issuance of commemorative coins in honor of outstanding American patriots," Hamadeh said in an interview with Fox News Digital.

It is specified that on one side of the coin the words "well done, kind and faithful servant" will be written, and on the other side there will be an image of Kirk and his full name. The final design will be selected after approval of the bill and consultation with US President Donald Trump.

Kirk died on September 10 after an assassination attempt during a speech at the University of Utah. He played a key role in the victory of US President Donald Trump in the 2024 elections.
