The Federal Air Transport Agency will create a special commission that will investigate the circumstances of the accident of two planes at Sheremetyevo Airport. This was announced on September 25 by the agency's official representative Artyom Korenyako.

"Rosaviatsia will form a commission chaired by Andrey Potemkin, deputy head of the agency, to investigate the causes of the aviation event that occurred on Wednesday evening at Sheremetyevo Airport," he said in a Telegram message.

In addition, Korenyako added that there were no risks for passengers.

A source from Izvestia reported on September 24 that an Airbus A330 aircraft operated by Hainan Airlines crashed into a Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft operated by Rossiya Airlines on the tarmac at Sheremetyevo Airport, which was supposed to depart for St. Petersburg. According to him, no one was injured as a result of the incident. The Airbus A330 crashed with its wing into the tail of another aircraft.
