Turkish President Recep Erdogan, during a meeting with French leader Emmanuel Macron, announced Ankara's intention to promote the Istanbul negotiations on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict with a focus on results. This was announced on September 24 in the office of the Turkish leader.
"Our president stated that Turkey is making every effort to ensure a just and lasting peace between Russia and Ukraine, and his desire to advance the negotiations in Istanbul," TASS quoted the office as saying.
