The Russian airline Aeroflot announced the adjustment of the flight schedule to / from Gelendzhik, Sochi and Krasnodar against the background of time restrictions on flights. This was announced on September 24 by the airline's press service.

"Aeroflot is forced to adjust the schedule of flights going to/from Gelendzhik, Sochi and Krasnodar. Some of the flights heading to Sochi were returned to the departure airport or sent to alternate airfields, some were canceled or delayed," the Telegram channel said.

It is noted that passengers of cancelled flights are offered to refund the cost of tickets or reissue them for the next available flights. The airline also called for monitoring the current status of flights on the online information board of airports.

The introduction of restrictions at Sochi, Gelendzhik and Krasnodar airports became known earlier that day. They were later removed. The representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency, Artyom Korenyako, clarified that the restrictions were imposed to ensure flight safety.
