A man died while spearfishing in the Pskov region.

The Investigative Committee is conducting an investigation into the death of a 54-year-old man in the Pskov region. He died while spearfishing.

According to the Pskov news feed, the man went to Lake Beloguli in the Pushkinogorsky district on September 20. He did not return home, and he stopped contacting his relatives. During the search, the fisherman's car and flashlight were found on the shore of a lake near the village of Biruli.

Soon the man's body was found with signs of drowning. Employees of the investigative department examined the scene and found no signs indicating the criminal nature of the death.

In the Trans-Baikal Territory, on September 16, an all-terrain vehicle with failed brakes flew into a lake and drowned. There were nine geologists in the cabin, five people died. The driver of the all-terrain vehicle was taken into custody as part of a criminal case on the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements.
