The strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the office of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) in Novorossiysk is a signal to the European Union (EU) that Kiev will strike at the infrastructure of the association countries. This was announced on September 24 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
"This is a signal from the EU: let them not be surprised that Bankovaya Street, where the administration of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is located. — Ed.) will hone terrorist skills more and more on their airfields, oil storage facilities and gas pipelines," she said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
Zakharova stressed that Ukraine is attacking civilian infrastructure, energy facilities and airports.
The number of injured as a result of the strike of Ukrainian drones (UAVs) on Novorossiysk, which occurred earlier in the day, increased to eight people, two died. The Prosecutor's office of the Krasnodar Territory stated that as a result of the UAV attack in the city, the roof of an apartment building caught fire.
The press service of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) reported that the company's office was damaged due to the attack, and two employees were injured. The Mayor of Novorossiysk, Andrei Kravchenko, also spoke about the repulse of an attack by unmanned boats of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the city. He urged residents to remain calm and observe security measures. An emergency mode has been introduced in the city.
